There are many Anthony Joshua fans who believe he is the greatest current heavyweight boxer and his IBF, WBO and WBA Heavyweight titles prove their claims.
The British champ has always preferred fighting on home soil but that pattern will chance on June 1 when Joshua fights in the United States for the first time.
Anthony Joshua is set to fight American boxer Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller at the iconic Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York. The fight has already broken the pre-sale record at MSG for the highest grossing fight but the official numbers have not yet been released by MSG. The pre-sale tickets were sold out in just two hours as it is very evident that American fight fans are eager to see Anthony Joshua in action live.
Tickets to the fight are being priced from $100 and will go all the way up to $2,500. These pre-sale numbers were done even before the first press conference between Joshua and Miller took place. Given the reaction and drama at the press conference, one can expect a lot of buzz to be created around this fight as we get to June 1.

Jarrell Miller is a former professional kick-boxer who is now pursuing a career in boxing as a heavyweight. He should have good support given the fact that he is a New Yorker. His professional record stands at 25 fights, 24 wins and 1 draw. Miller should be getting a lot more attention as he is facing Anthony Joshua but ironically the press is more interested in talking about opponents that Joshua could have faced – namely Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury.
Miller showed his frustration during the press conference by pushing Anthony Joshua violently. He also attacked him personally by calling him a pussy and a fake fighter. Joshua isn’t too perturbed about the remarks as he has a record of 22 fights, 22 wins and 21 of those by knock-out!
In a statement, Joshua said
He’s not a puncher. Ex-kickboxer. Probably be better off in the NFL. Substance abuse. Got caught on PEDs. I can’t really respect that, so talk is cheap. I’m just going to back that up in the ring. The best chance he has is to land a big right hand or a big left hook, but that’s not really going to happen, so he’s going to get beat.
