The UFC Apex Center is set to play host to another UFC Fight Night card on March 13. This card will be headlined by Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad in what could end up being a number one contender fight for the UFC welterweight championship.
This fight card may not be as impressive as some of the recent fight cards that the promotion has put up in terms of big names. However, hardcore MMA fans will tune in as there are a number of good fights on the cards.

Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad
Leon Edwards would dearly like to make a statement in this fight and get more respect on his name. He has done really well in the welterweight division but not being active and not getting big name opponents have caused his name to go under the radar. Edwards was supposed to fight hot prospect Khamzat Chimaev but the fight fell through twice as Chimaev contracted COVID-19.
Belal Muhammad is stepping up to save the Main Event and fight Edwards as he is in fighting shape having fought on 14 Feb. Edwards is the betting favorite with odds of 20/53 while Muhammad has odds of 9/4. While Muhammad is a tough and gritty fighter, we think Edwards will get the better of him in this 5 round fight.
Current odds: Leon Edwards (-266) / Belal Muhammad (+226)
Misha Cirkunov vs. Ryann Spann
The co-main event will see a fight in the lightheavyweight division as Misha Cirkunov and Ryann Spann will throw down. The bookies have Cirkunov as a slight betting favorite with odds of 25/32 while Spann is at 27/25.
The bookmakers are right as we expect this to be a close fight. Both fighters have the ability to end the fight with one punch and will have to display a very strong defence. We are going to give Cirkunov the edge as we believe his wrestling should make the difference and give him the win.
Current odds: Misha Cirkunov (-128) / Ryann Spann (+108)
Dan Ige vs. Gavin Tucker
Dan Ige was set to fight Ryan Hall on this card but Hall pulled out of the fight. The impressive Gavin Tucker is stepping up to take this fight. The bookmakers have Ige as the favorite at 25/38 while Tucker is at 33/25. We expect this to be a close fight during the first couple of rounds but Ige should be able to win this fight in the end.
Current odds: Dan Ige (-152) / Gavin Tucker (+132)
