Joe Schilling does not fight in the UFC but he is still very popular with the MMA crowd as Schilling has been fighting in combat sports for close to two decades. He currently fights for Bellator and used to corner Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone till the two fell out.
A video of Joe Schilling punching and knocking out an arrogant customer in a bar is doing the rounds on Instagram and it is getting mixed feedback from the MMA community. The video shows Schilling walking back to his seat when the customer who has his back to Schilling gets in his way.
Schilling gives the customer a light shove and the customer takes offense to it and apparently says something to the MMA fighter. We do not know what was said but we can see that the guy starts to flex on Schilling which definitely comes across as if he is threatening to punch Schilling.

The 37 year old Muay Thai specialist kickboxer wastes no time and knocks him out cold with just one quick punch to the jaw and the customer is out flat on the ground. Unconfirmed reports now suggest that Schilling could be facing battery charges.
Joe Schilling is not a Mike Perry or a Conor McGregor in the sense that he does not go picking fights in bars but at the same time will not back down from one. Schilling says that the guy who got knocked out was acting like a jerk throughout the evening and even used the N word to one of the servers.
The server who was African American was clearly offended but did not do anything about it as he did not want to lose his job. Schilling’s kids are half black and he has been very open on his Instagram about not tolerating racism. Schilling also said that the guy was making eye contact with him earlier and staring him down even when he was minding his own business.
When he flexed on him, Schilling decided that enough was enough and put him down. There were many on social media who felt that Schilling should have restrained himself given that he is a trained MMA fighter while some felt that the jerk had it coming.
Schilling posted screenshots of messages he received from a lady who said that the guy he knocked out had physically assaulted her in the past and she was waiting for karma to catch up with him. She thanked Schilling for putting him in his place and teaching him a lesson.
