Anthony Joshua’s last fight was on 07 December 2019 in Al-Turaif, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia when he fought Andy Ruiz Jr. and regained his WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles. The British superstar has been out of action like a number of other top boxers due to the COVID-19 situation.
Joshua makes her return to the boxing ring on December 12 on home soil when he takes on the dangerous Kubrat Pulev. The fight will take place in the iconic Wembley Stadium and fans will be in attendance.

Anthony Joshua has an impressive record to say the least with 24 fights, 23 wins and 21 of them coming by way of KO. His only loss was at the hands of Andy Ruiz Jr. during their first fight and Joshua avenged that loss right away to get back his belts.
He is the overwhelming betting favorite with odds of 1/16 against underdog Pulev who has odds of 6/1. Fighting on home soil gives Anthony Joshua a big advantage as the Brit has always done well fighting in front of his home supporters.
However, Kubret is not going to be an easy opponent for Joshua. The Bulgarian has won the European heavyweight championship twice during 2012 and 2016. He has a record of 29 fights, 28 wins and 14 of them coming by KO. He has only 1 loss on his record. His last fight was on 09 November 2019 when he fought US boxer Rydell Booker and won by unanimous decision.
Boxing fans expect Anthony Joshua to win this fight and then take on fellow Brit Tyson Fury in what will be one of the biggest boxing fights in heavyweight history. However, Joshua said he is not taking Pulev lightly and will not think about Fury till he gets past Pulev.
Earlier this month, Anthony Joshua said he thinks that it is time Tyson Fury should join his management team 258 Management and Matchroom and let them handle his career. Joshua praised the Gypsy King and said with the right management he could be a superstar in the making.
Fury responded telling Joshua that he had no aspirations to be a superstar and only wanted to be known as a fighting man. He ended by telling Joshua to keep his stardom and his only interest was to smash his face.
@anthonyfjoshua has it ever dawned on you I’m not interested in being a superstar, or famous, I’m a fighting man & only interested in smashing your face in, u keep the stardom, I’ll stay real, #youbigdosser I’m coming for u superstar, tick tock tick tock ⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰⏰ pic.twitter.com/4rq5QMoV5P
