Turkey vs. Italy
Date: Friday 11th June
Kick Off: 21:00 (CEST)
Italy will play hosts to Turkey and open Euro 2020 on June 11 at Stadio Olimpico in Roma. This should be an easy match for Italy as they are massive betting favorites with odds of 1/2 while Turkey have odds of 29/4. The current odds of the game ending in a draw are at 3/1.
Italy are amongst the top teams that are expected to make it to the quarter-finals but they will not take Turkey lightly as it would be terribly embarrassing for them to lose the first game of Euro 2020 in front of their home fans. Italy will be confident going into this game as they have a 5-3-0 record against Turkey which is another reason why they are betting favorites.
Some of the Italian players to watch out for include Leonardo Bonucci and Federico Chiesa. We have our money on Italy.
Wales vs. Switzerland
Date: Saturday 12th June
Kick Off: 15:00 (CEST)
This is the second match in Group A and will also take place on June 12 after the Italy vs. Turkey game the previous night. This match will be played at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan. This game should be a lot more competitive even though Switzerland go in as the betting favorite.
The Swiss have odds of 6/5 to win while Wales are the underdogs with odds of 11/4. The current odds of this game ending in a draw is at 2/1. Switzerland are the favorites as they have a very talented team that can surprise some of the bigger teams in the competition.
Some of the Swiss players that you should keep an eye out for include Xherdan Shaqiri and Granit Xhaka. If Wales is going to stop Switzerland, they need their captain Gareth Bale to lead from the front and midfielder Aaron Ramsey to have a good game. We are going to back Switzerland to win.
Denmark vs. Finland
Date: Saturday 12th June
Kick Off: 18:00 (CEST)
Saturday will see Group B in action with Denmark vs. Finland opening things. This game will take place in Copenhagen and Denmark will feel very comfortable playing at home and against a team that is not a big threat.
Denmark is a massive betting favorite going into this game with odds of 4/9. Finland qualified for the first time in UEFA Euro history and are massive underdogs with odds of 15/2. The odds of this game ending in a draw are currently at 31/10.
Based on the betting odds, you don’t need an expert to tell you how this game is expected to turn out. Can Finland surprise the Danes? There is a very slim chance and we are not going to bet on that outcome.
The Danish players you should watch out for include Christian Eriksen and goalie Kasper Schmeichel.
Belgium vs. Russia
Date: Saturday 12th June
Kick Off: 21:00 (CEST)
Russia will host Belgium in the last game on Saturday which takes place in St. Petersburg. While Russia will have the home advantage, they will still go in as underdogs with odds of 41/10.
Belgium have a bunch of talented players and are expected to win easily. They go in with betting odds of 7/10 while the odds of the game ending in a draw are 53/20. We have our money on Belgium.
The Belgium players that you need to watch out for include Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard (provided he is fit to play).
England vs. Croatia
Date: Sunday 13th June
Kick Off: 15:00 (CEST)
The second match on Sunday will feature a match from Group D when England take on Croatia in London. England are one of the top five teams that are expected to win Euro 2020 and it is no surprise that they go in as betting favorites with odds of 4/6 while Croatia are the underdogs with odds of 23/5.
The odds of this game finishing as a draw are currently at 13/5.
The English players you should watch out for include captain Harry Kane, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish.
