There are a number of exciting T20 World Cup cricket matches set to take place over the weekend. One match that will capture the attention of millions of cricket fans around the world takes place on Oct 31 when India takes on New Zealand.
India and New Zealand have lost their opening games of the T20 World Cup to Pakistan. Pakistan now sits at the top of their group having played and won both their matches. They hammered India in their first game and had a comfortable win over the Kiwis on Oct 27.
India and New Zealand will feel the pressure coming into this game as another loss will make it difficult for them to qualify for the playoffs of the T20 World Cup.

India goes in as the betting favorite whilst the Kiwis are underdogs. New Zealand will not mind the underdog tag as the Kiwis are known to raise their game when it comes to ICC World Cup events. The last time New Zealand played India was for the inaugural ICC Test World Cup and the Kiwis beat India.
India
Current Odds: 1.44
India has issues with both their batting and bowling. Their batsmen have looked out of form as we saw in the 2021 IPL. Will key players like captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul be able to play a match winning knock? Will their bowlers be able to find their rhythm and pick up early wickets?
Former captain Sunil Gavaskar has called for two changes to be made. He says if all-rounder Hardik Pandya cannot bowl, then he prefers the talented Ishan Kishan to replace him. Gavaskar also things that Bhuvneshwar Kumar who is one of the best T20 bowlers in the world, should be replaced with Shardul Thakur who provides more hitting power lower down the order.
New Zealand
Current Odds: 2.75
New Zealand like playing India as it brings out the best in them. The Kiwis struggled in their game against Pakistan because their batting let them down. They will once again depend on Martin Guptill, Kane Williamson and Devon Conway to get them big runs.
Their bowling attack looks impressive in the pace department with Tim Southee and Trent Boult. Their spin bowling will be tested by the Indian batters.
We are going to put our money on New Zealand to pull off an upset.
