The West Indies will play a three match T20 series, followed by a three match ODI series and then two test matches against Sri Lanka at home. The first T20 match is scheduled to take place on March 4 in Coolidge.
The West Indies go in as betting favorites to win the T20 series as they have one of the most talented T20 sides in world cricket. They also have the advantage of playing at home and competing against a Sri Lankan side that is not at its best.

West Indies
The West Indies currently have odds of 6/4 to win the three match T20 series 3-0 and odds of 8/5 to win the series 2-1.
West Indies cricket has suffered in the past due to disputes between the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and the players. It looks like most of those issues have now been addressed as the West Indies are fielding a powerful T20 side with a great mix of veterans and new players.
Kieron Pollard will captain the side and his deputy of the T20 series will be Nicholas Pooran. Cricket fans who have not followed West Indies cricket closely in recent months will be surprised to see the return of Chris Gayle, Dwayne Bravo and Fidel Edwards. Some of the new faces in the squad include Akeal Hosein, Kevin Sinclair and Obed McCoy.
The West Indies have odds of 1/3 to win the first T20 match.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka are huge underdogs with odds of 11/1 to win the series 3-0 and 10/3 to win the series 2-1.
Sri Lankan cricket has dropped to new lows in the last couple of years as politics, injuries and poor selection have hurt Sri Lanka. The selectors decided to name ex-captain Angelo Matthews as the interim skipper for the T20 series as Dasun Shanaka has faced transit visa issues that will prevent him from leading the side.
While Sri Lanka do have a few experienced players in the side which include Dinesh Chandimal, Thisara Perera and Suranga Lakmal, the selectors have decided to give a lot of young players a chance to shine and become the new stars of Sri Lankan cricket. Will these new players rise to the occasion and be overpowered by the West Indies T20 juggernaut? We will have to wait and see.
Sri Lanka have odds of 12/5 to win the first T20 match.
