English football fans are going to be tuned in tonight for the UEFA Europa League Final as Manchester United will take on La Liga’s Villarreal at the Stadion Miejski in Gdansk, Poland. The game will take place on May 26 and will start at 8 pm British Standard Time (BST).
Man United have won multiple European championships over the years and know what it is like to play on the big stage. The atmosphere isn’t going to be as intense as it could be as the stadium will only be filed to 25 percent capacity due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
Under normal circumstances, the Red Devils would have great fan support as their loyal supporters fly all over the world to show their support. Man U fans have been given a total of 2,000 tickets for the finals. However, all of this will not deter Man United as they know that they have both the talent and skills to beat Villarreal.

Sportsbooks have Man U as the betting favorites with Bwin providing odds of 2/5 while Villarreal are the underdogs with odds of 9/5.
While Man U are the favorites, they will be without their captain Harry Maguire who is most likely to miss out as he is yet to recover from his injury. The Red Devils did their best to help Maguire get back to match fitness but he did not train this week and is likely to sit out.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is likely to go in with a 4-2-3-1 strategy and is expected to field a playing XI that features De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Lindelof, Shaw; McTominay, Fred; Greenwood, Fernandes, Pogba and Cavani.
While Man U are the betting favorites and the more experienced side, don’t write off Villarreal. This is the first time that the Spanish side will be making an appearance at the UEFA Europa League Final but their manager Unai Emery has led three teams to the finals of Europa Championships whereas Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is leading his first side to a Europa championship final.
Villarreal’s chances to beat Man U have certainly increased with the absence of Harry Maguire. Unai Emery will need key players like Gerard Moreno and Raul Albiol to step up and lead Villarreal to their first UEFA Europa Championship.
