We take a look at the betting odds for three exciting fights on this card and give you our expert prediction.
Stipe Miocic vs. Francis Ngannou
The Main Event will feature heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic defend his belt for the second time against the number one contender Francis Ngannou. Miocic won by unanimous decision in the first fight after he withstood a barrage of punches from Ngannou in the first round and then outwrestled an exhausted Ngannou for the next four rounds.
Ngannou is the betting favorite for this fight with odds of -125 while Miocic is at -105. Miocic who is considered by many to be the GOAT of the heavyweight division has a right to feel disrespected with those odds but he is far too experienced a fighter to let those factors get to him.
The big question for Ngannou is whether he can KO Miocic in the first round and if he cannot, will his cardio and wrestling defense be good enough to beat Miocic the second time around. Ngannou has put in a lot of effort into his game and we believe that he will win!
Tyron Woodley vs. Vincent Luque
Tyron Woodley and Vincent Luque have been bumped to the co-main event. The Brazilian Luque is the favorite with odds of -270 while the former welterweight champ is the underdog with odds of +210. Woodley has suffered three consecutive losses and knows he needs to get a win under his belt if he wants to continue fighting in the UFC.
Woodley’s problems stem from the fact that he has struggled to get going and if he get into a similar situation on Saturday night, Luque could hand him his fourth loss. UFC President Dana White thinks Woodley should hang up the gloves and we are going to agree. Put your money on Luque for this one.
Sean O’Malley vs. Thomas Almeida
Sean O’Malley is the favorite in this fight with odds of -310 while the Brazilian Almedia is the underdog with odds of +240. We are going to back Almedia to win this one as O’Malley will be under pressure after suffering his first loss in the Octagon during his last fight.
