The UFC is set to light up Las Vegas on July 10 as Conor McGregor will headline UFC 264 in a Main Event that takes place at the T-Mobile Arena with fans in attendance. Whenever McGregor fights it stirs up the MMA community as he is the biggest MMA superstar in the world.
There are a number of good fights on the Main Card but the prelims and the early prelims are a bit threadbare for UFC 264. However with a huge draw like McGregor, the UFC can afford to go light on the prelims.
We take a look at the Main Event and Co-Main event for this pay per view card.

Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor III
McGregor fought Poirier in Jan 2021 and ended up on the losing side after Poirier won by stoppage. The Notorious immediately called for a trilogy fight as the two are now 1-1 a piece going into the July 10 fight. Bookmakers have Poirier as a slight favorite with odds of -120 while McGregor is the underdog with Evens.
McGregor played Mr. Nice guy for the second fight and things did not go his way. This time around, he is going in as the Bad guy and is doing his best to play mind games and get under Poirier’s skin just like he did in their first match.
In the lead up to the fight, McGregor has sent voice messages taunting Poirier…

and also posted a screen shot of Poirier’s wife who tried to message him on Instagram.

McGregor’s best chance to win is in the first two rounds. If the fight goes past the second round, Poirier’s chances to win increase significantly. We think Conor McGregor will be able to walk out with a win.
Some of the other exciting fights on this card is a heavyweight bout featuring Greg Hardy Jr. (+115) vs. Tai Tuivasa (-140) and a welterweight scrap with veteran Carlos Condit (+160) vs. Max Griffin (-200).
Gilbert Burns vs. Stephen Thompson
Gilbert Burns is back in the Octagon after losing a championship fight UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman. He will face Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson in what will be a great BJJ vs. Karate style matchup.
Wonderboy is a big favorite in this fight with odds of -170 while Burns has odds of +140. We are going to pick Wonderboy to win this fight.
