Veteran Anthony Smith is looking to make another run for the title and standing in his way is the hard hitting Ryan Spann. Smith is coming off two wins, his last being against Aussie Jimmy Crute in April 2021. He is the betting favorite with odds of -170 and Spann is the underdog at +145.
Spann is coming off an impressive TKO win in March 2021 over Misha Cirkunov. This will be the first time that Spann is fighting in a 5 round Main Event and the pressure will be on him. Spann can hit hard but Smith has faced heavy hitters before and survived. Spann’s best chance of winning is in the first two rounds by KO.
If he cannot get it done by then, Smith will take control of the fight. We are putting our money on Smith to win.
Some of the other exciting fights on this card which may take your interest in betting on include Arman Tsarukyan vs. Christos Giagos at lightweight. If you like to watch world class grappling, you got to watch this fight. Tsarukyan is a huge betting favorite with odds of -850 while Giagos has odds of +600. Put your money on Tsarukyan.
The other fight to watch out for is the exciting Joaquin Buckley taking on Antonio Arroyo at middleweight. Buckley is the betting favorite with odds of -200 while Arroyo has odds of +170. Put your money on Buckley.
Co-Main Event: Ion Cutelaba vs. Devin Clark
Ion Cutelaba is a KO specialist and the betting favorite in this fight with odds of -152 while Devin Clark is the underdog with odds of +132. The Moldovian fighter is the most dangerous in the first round and a half but afterwards he tends to tire quickly. Clark needs to maintain his distance and throw shots to the body to slow Cutelaba down.
If Clarke can take Cutelaba down, he will have a lot more success as Clark’s ground game is underrated. We are going to back Clark to win this fight.
