Summary
- UFC returns this weekend with a Fight Night card on June 04
- Main Event – Heavyweight bout featuring Volkov vs. Rozenstruik
- Not a high profile card as it does not feature a lot of big names
UFC fans were surprised last weekend to know that the premier MMA organization had no fights scheduled over the weekend.
However, the UFC returns to action this weekend with a Fight Night card set to take place on June 04.
This card will be headlined by a heavyweight bout with Russian giant Alexander Volkov taking on Suriname’s Jairzinho Rozenstruik in a 5 round Main Event. Apart from the Main Event, there are not a lot of big names on this card and it’s one of the reasons why this card is flying under the radar.
We take a look at the Main Event and two more fights that MMA fans should watch out for.

Volkov is coming off a loss to the impressive Tom Aspinall in March 2022 and would like to put that fight behind him quickly by securing a win over Jairzinho Rozenstruik who is also coming off a loss against Curtis Blaydes.
We expect this fight to play out on the feet mostly as both fighters prefer to stand and trade shots. The Russia is definitely the more technical striker as he mixes it up with hands and legs whereas Rozenstruik prefers to do damage with big shots.
Volkov goes into this fight with the height and reach advantage which we feel gives him a slight edge over Rozenstruik. Don’t be surprised if this fight goes the distance and Volkov wins by decision.
Current odds: Alexander Volkov (-150) / Jairzinho Rozenstruik (+130)
Dan Ige vs. Movsar Evloev
MMA fans know Dan Ige as a fighter who will stand and bang. Ige is coming off two losses and has a tough opponent before him in the undefeated Russian fighter Movsar Evloev. Ige will have his work cut out as Evloev likes to take his opponent down, dominate the round and win by decision. If Ige can stop the takedowns, we think he can pull off an upset!
Current odds: Dan Ige (+310) / Movsar Evloev (-410)
Felice Herrig vs. Karolina Kowalkiewicz
Felice Herrig and Karolina Kowalkiewicz have big followings on social media. These two fighters fought at UFC 223 and Kowalkiewicz won by split decision. They will run it back on June 04 and we expect this to be another closely fought contest that will go to the judges again!
Current odds: Felice Herrig (-115) / Karolina Kowalkiewicz (-105)
