Islam Makhachev vs. Thiago Moisés
Makhachev who is a cousin to former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has another chance to impress the fans in this Main Event fight. Makhachev is a heavy betting favorite going into this fight with 1.14 odds while Moises is a huge underdog with odds of 5.50.
Makhachev has a very similar style to Khabib as they both trained under Khabib’s father and grew up together. There are some who believe that Makhachev’s striking is a little bit better than Khabib while is ground game is just as good which makes him a very dangerous fighter.
Thiago Moises said that while he has great resepect for Khabib and his accomplishments, Makhachev is definitely not on the same level and he believes he has the tools to beat Makhachev.
We are going to put our money on Islam Makhachev to win.
Current odds: Islam Makhachev (-700) / Thiago Moisés (+450)
Marion Reneau vs. Meisha Tate
Even though Tate has been out since 2016 she returns as the betting favorite and has odds of 1.66 while Reneau is the underdog at 2.25. Tate has never been a great striker and will want to take Reneau down and look to submit her. Will Meisha Tate be as good as she was on the ground prior to her retirement or will Reneau be able to keep the fight standing and walk away into retirement by beating the former UFC bantamweight champ?
We are going to put our money on Meisha Tate who has worked very hard to get herself back into fighting shape.
Current odds: Marion Reneau (+125) / Meisha Tate (-150)
Some of the other exciting fights on this card include Jeremy Stephens (+175) vs. Mateusz Gamrot (-225) at lightweight, BBJ specialist Rodolfo Vieira (-210) against Dustin Stoltzfus (+170) at middleweight and a prelim headliner between Daniel Rodriguez (-325) against Preston Parsons (+250) at welterweight.
