UFC fans are in for a treat this weekend as former UFC bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw returns to the Octagon for the first time since his 2 year suspension for a failed drug test.
Dillashaw will fight the dangerous Cory Sandhagen and the winner could definitely be in line for a title shot, especially if they have an impressive performance.

Cory Sandhagen vs. TJ Dillashaw
TJ Dillashaw was suspended for taking EPO and received a lot of flak from the MMA community for cheating. He is now looking to come back and show that he can still be at the top of the game without having to depend on EPO or any other steroids. Sandhagen does not believe that Dillashaw will be the same fighter without EPO and believes he will win.
The bookmakers are also favouring Sandhagen who is the betting favorite with odds of 1.50 while Dillashaw has odds of 2.70. Prior to his failed drug test, Dillashaw would have been the favorite but it is hard to back Dillashaw now after being out of the Octagon for two plus years.
Will ring rust and the absence of EPO diminish the performance of Dillashaw? We will have to wait and watch!
Current odds: Cory Sandhagen (+170) / TJ Dillashaw (-200)
Aspen Ladd vs. Macy Chiasson
Two top prospects in the women’s bantamweight division will fight to determine what could potentially be the next title contender at bantamweight. Aspen Ladd has faced tough challenges before and has done very well. However, her last fight was back in 2019 and the lack of Octagon time might give Chiasson a slight advantage.
Chiasson has done well in the UFC but she hasn’t faced top competition. This fight against Ladd will be her biggest test and if she can come out with a win, she could make a name for herself. The bookmakers have Ladd as the betting favorite with odds of 1.51 while Chiasson is the underdog with odds of 2.69.
Current odds: Aspen Ladd (-194) / Macy Chiasson (+169)
Miranda Maverick vs. Maycee Barber
The UFC built Maycee Barber to be the future of the flyweight division. However, things did not go the way of ‘The Future’ as she lost her last two fights and desperately needs a win over the impressive Miranda Maverick on Saturday night. The bookmakers have Maverick as the favorite with odds of 1.66 while Barber has odds of 2.29.
Some of the other exciting fights on this card include Punahele Soriano vs. Brendan Allen at middleweight and Kyler Phillips vs. Raulian Paiva at bantamweight.
Current odds: Miranda Maverick (-150) / Maycee Barber (+130)
