Luke Rockhold vs. Mike Perry
Luke Rockhold will fight former UFC welterweight Mike Perry on April 29 at BKFC 41 which will take place in Broomfield, Colorado. Rockhold and Perry will be the Main Event at BKFC 41 and the fight is set to take place at middleweight.
Mike Perry has had two successful fights in BKFC after being released by the UFC. Perry has won both his fights against Julian “Bang Bro” Lane and Bellator star Michael “Venom” Page. Perry seems to have found his groove with BKFC as Perry is known to be a brawler who likes to stand and bang.
The 31 year old can not only take a punch but also has heavy hands which should work in his favour when he faces Rockhold who has had questions raised in the past over his ‘chin’. What should work in Rockhold’s favour is that Perry will be the smaller fighter as his natural weight class is at 170lbs and the move up to 185lbs could work against him when he faces Rockhold.
Current odds: Luke Rockhold (?) / Mike Perry (?)
Eddie Alvarez vs. Chad Mendes
BKFC has continued to build its roster of fighters by signing retired and cut fighters from the UFC. The promotion has also put together a 165lbs fight between two former UFC fighters in Eddie Alvarez and Chad Mendes.
Alvarez is the former UFC lightweight champ who lost his belt to Conor McGregor. He will fight Chad Mendes who also fought McGregor and lost.
Current odds: Eddie Alvarez (?) / Chad Mendes (?)
Former UFC heavyweight Ben Rothwell is also expected to fight on this card. BKFC will announce its full card for BKFC 41 in the coming weeks.
