Frontwave Arena is located 37 miles north of Pechanga Arena, where the team Clippers played between 1978 and 1984 until they eventually relocated to Los Angeles.
The Arena can host up to 7,500 people and it will officially open this summer. It will also turn into the home of the San Diego Sockers, a soccer team that plays indoors.

Zucker called the G League team “a critical part” of their business and basketball operations while expressing excitement about relocating to the new Frontwave Arena in the upcoming season.
Halo Sports and Entertainment is the new umbrella brand that encompasses the Clippers and their G League team.
They will be joined by the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in managing the business operations of the rebranded team.
