Sports bettors in Ireland and the United Kingdom have something new to look forward to. The Kindred Group has revealed that they will be releasing a new proprietary racing platform. This new product will allow 24/7 access to races across multiple territories all over the world.
Previously known as the Unibet Group, the company went through a rebranding process in 2016 and renamed itself to the Kindred Group. The company has its headquarters in Malta and operates a number of popular UK and Irish online casinos. Some of the online casinos are Unibet.co.uk, 32Red.com and MariaCasino.co.uk. The new racing platform will primarily be focusing on racing bets from around the world.
The Kindred Group showed off the new proprietary racing platform right before the recent Grand National steeplechase event held at the Aintree Racecourse, a major event in horse racing circles. The proprietary racing platform will have a lot of support as the Kindred Group already has a solid base infrastructure and customer base in the horse racing market, thanks to Kindred’s purchase of StanJames.com in 2016.
In a statement, Ben Colley, Head of Global Racing for Kindred Group, said
It’s been great to finally get the platform out of beta and in front of our customers old and new, showcasing the Grand National meeting to best effect. Complementary to the excellent Kambi sportsbook, we expect this new platform for all things racing to quickly become a best-of-breed example, fully supported by experienced and knowledgeable trading and risk teams in both Gibraltar and Sydney
Kindred Group also went into more detail on how this new platform will be able to help it expand its race betting platform across Ireland and the United Kingdom. It also hopes that it will be able to personalize the platform for different regions so that it can be launched in different gambling jurisdictions.
Colley said that Kindred plans to develop and improve the platform while it operates in Kindred’s core territories of Ireland, UK and Australia. Once it reaches a high level of performance in these three regions, the platform will be further customized and then launched in individual European markets.
With its eleven brands, the Kindred Group serves more than 21 million players in the online gambling markets of Australia and Europe. The Group also holds several important sponsorship agreements with several top racing events like the Road to Cheltenham series and the 32Red King George VI Chase. The new platform will further help the Kindred Group strengthen its presence in the horse racing industry in UK and Ireland.
