The Cleveland Cavaliers along with the Golden State Warriors were the two teams that dominated the NBA for the last four years.
LeBron James decided to leave the Cavaliers as he was carrying too much weight on his shoulders and signed with the LA Lakers.
LeBron James knew that it was going to take time and a lot of work to gel with the new set of players and take the Lakers forward.
However, he hasn’t had the results that he would have liked as the Lakers have been losing too frequently for his liking this season.
The Lakers have lost their last two games in a row, losing on Monday night to the Memphis Grizzlies 105-110. They have won 29 games this season and lost 31 games as of now on the points table. Losing to the Grizzlies on Monday night was another low for the Lakers as the Grizzlies have had a worst run the Lakers and occupy the second last position on the Western Conference points table.

The Lakers have gone accustomed to losing in recent years and this season is no different, despite King James being present. The string of losses hasn’t gone down well with James who has a habit of helping his team win.
LeBron James was expecting a tough journey with the Lakers but this losing streak is pretty tough for him to handle. What has made it difficult for James and the Lakers is that James had to miss 18 consecutive games because of a serious injury. The team has also had to do without the services of some senior players including Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Rajon Rondo.
The Lakers haven’t made the playoffs since 2013 and had a goal of changing that record in 2019. That’s going to be a very daunting task for the Lakers even with the great LeBron James in the side as they have too many holes to fill. Should the Lakers fail to make the playoffs, it would be a huge disappointment for basketball fans as for the first time in a long time, they will miss seeing James in the playoffs.
James had some stern words for his teammates as he urged them to step out of their comfort zones and be willing to take risks so that they can turn things around and make it to the 2019 playoffs.
