Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks and the Boston Celtics are gearing up for a potential series ending game on Wednesday night.

The Bucks took game four on the road to come back to Milwaukee with a 3-1 series lead. The Bucks are playing some of their best basketball of the year and it is showing in this series.

After a 112-90 loss in game one to the Celtics, the Bucks have turned the series around winning three in a row. Boston hasn’t gotten any closer than seven points in the past few games and a 12-point loss on Monday night might have sealed the Celtics fate in the series.

The Bucks are huge favourites in this one as the line is set at -9.5 in the Bucks favour. The over / under is set at 218 points.

Bucks Look to Win Fourth Straight

The Bucks have been a team of destiny this year as is has seemed that everything has started to click for them. Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to lead the team, but the Bucks need some of their secondary scorers to step up a little bit more.

Khris Middleton might be the spark that the Bucks need to finish off the series quickly, but he wasn’t very good in game four. Middleton scored just 13 points on 4-of-19 shooting from the floor. Even though Middleton had such an off game he is still averaging 19.3 points a game on 53.8 percent shooting from the arc. If Middleton can get himself back on track here in game five, the Bucks should have no problem dispatching the Celtics and sending them home.

Celtics Need to Win Three Straight

All five of the Celtics starters scored in double figures. When that happens, you are usually going to win the game. But the Celtics bench was downright awful and did not do anything to help the cause. The bench unit for the Celtics scored just seven points in the game.

Gordon Heyward struggled a lot scoring just two points on 1-of-5 shooting from the floor. Heyward signed a max contract just two years ago and if the Celtics want to advance, he must provide more scoring. Kyrie Irving is one of the top guards in the game today but even he can’t carry the Celtics to the next round. The bench needs to step up quickly, or this is the last game the Celtics will play this season.

Bucks Advance but Celtics Cover

The Bucks are not going to lose this one at home. They have some much momentum right now it is crazy. Milwaukee has a ton of talent and look to be the team to come out of the Eastern Conference. The Celtics will put up a good fight but they just do not have the firepower Milwaukee does. Look for the Bucks to win the game but the Celtics should keep it close as they fight for their season. Take the Celtics and the over tonight.
