When you log onto the Paddy Power betting site you are able to instantly select the horse race you are interested in placing a bet on, as all races are displaced on one main horse racing betting page. Clicking on any single race will then bring up all of the usual and also these brand new betting options.
Below are the bets you are now going to be able to place on each race covered. Be aware that some of the bets are race specific, and as such we have highlighted the type of races these bets are available on.
- Win Bet – The Win Bet is of course the standard and most popular type of bet available. In this column on the Paddy Power betting platform you will find each horse listed, and alongside each horse running will be the odds available to you, which are awarded when you select the odds and you horse wins!
- Each Way Bet – You are able to bet your horse Each Way, and depending on the number of horse taking part in each race, you will be awarded a percentage of the win odds, if you selection gets placed in one of the places indicated on the screen. An Each Way bet is a two part bet, one part of the bet is placed as a Win Bet and the second covers the horse filly one of the placed positions.
- Faller Insurance – You can place a wager which will be a winning one if your selection falls in running. This bet covers all jump meetings, and when placed in the event of your horse falling, then you will be paid out at the odds offered before the race got underway. This wager is also on offer as the race is running!
- Insure Bet 2 Places – You can place a wager in the hope your horse finishes in the first or second position, and if this is a bet that interests you then look down the Insure Bet 2 Places column, for that is where the odds on this type of bet can be found.
- Insure Bet 3 Places – Should you think your selected horse may not win the race, but will get placed in one of the three places, the Insure Bet 3 Places wager will be of interest to you! Once you place this bet it does matter whether your selections win or comes second or third, as long as it finishes in one of the placed positions your bet will be a winning one, and will be paid out at the odds displayed on the screen.
- Betting Without – You also are able to place what is known as a Betting Without bet at the Paddy Power site. This bet will not take in effect the favourite horse in the race, and as such you cannot bet on the favourite just the remaining runners in the race. The idea behind this bet is that your horse needs to finish first or second to the favourite for it to be a winning one.
