Tyson Fury got the attention he deserves and the respect he wanted when he fought Deontay Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title back in December 2018. The match lasted all 12 rounds and in the end it was adjudged as a split draw. Boxing fans were eager to see a rematch take place in 2019 but both Wilder and Fury decided to fight other opponents.
The Gypsy King has now confirmed that his next fight will be against Deontay Wilder and it will most likely take place in Feb 2020. Wilder is scheduled to fight Luis Ortiz for the second time on November 23 at the MGM Grand. Wilder won the first fight but many consider that this fight was his biggest challenge.
Wilder will want to win this fight in impressive fashion to establish his claims that he is the baddest man on the planet. If Wilder wins, it is highly likely that he will agree to fight Fury next although he has stated that he wants to fight Andy Ruiz Jr. who is the WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champ.
Andy Ruiz is scheduled to defend his belts against former champion Anthony Joshua whom he beat to get all three belts. Their fight is scheduled to take place on December 7 in Saudi Arabia. If Ruiz ends up winning in December, it is highly unlikely that he will be ready to fight in Feb. Hence it makes it all the more likely that a Fury vs. Wilder rematch will happen in Feb 2020.
Tyson Fury is building quite a name for himself. He made an appearance at a WWE show and has now expressed interest in entering the UFC. He recently trained with British UFC middleweight fighter Darren Till and did some MMA work. The Gypsy King said he is interested in fighting UFC Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic after the Wilder fight.

However, Fury will not be stepping into the world of MMA as he is a professional boxer and would get badly beaten if he was to fight Miocic in the Octagon. Fury says that his fight with Stipe Miocic will be a boxing match similar to the Mayweather vs. McGregor bout. Stipe Miocic has also expressed interest in fighting Tyson Fury which makes 2020 a very interesting year for combat sports!
