* Odds have been provided by BetOnline and are accurate as of 10/12/2019
Championship Fight 1: Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington
The Main Event will see UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ make his first title defence against Colby ‘Chaos’ Covington who is the most hated fighter in the UFC for his antics and open support of President Donald Trump and government.
The two fighters don’t like each other and have had heated arguments leading up to this fight. The bookies have the champ Usman as the favourite due the fact he has more raw power while Covington is known to be a volume striker.
One key factor that could decide how this fight plays out is the cardio levels between the two fighters and in this regard, Colby might have the edge as he does not get tired.
Current Odds: Kamaru Usman (-185), Colby Covington (+160)
Championship Fight 2: Max Holloway vs. Alexander Volkanovski
Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway is arguably the best fighter in the history of the UFC’s featherweight division. He will be defending his title against Australia’s Alexander Volkanovski who is the number one contender.
The bookies have Holloway as the favourite which is no surprise given the fact that Holloway has not lost as featherweight since 2012, his last loss being to Conor McGregor. However, he does have a stiff challenge on his hands with the powerful Volkanovski who has KO power.
Current Odds: Max Holloway (-170), Alexander Volkanovski (+145)
Championship Fight 3: Amanda Nunes vs. Germaine De Randamie
Amanda Nunes is a double weight class champ holding belts in both the Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions. This time around she will defend her Bantamweight belt against Germaine De Randamie (GDR) who is a decorated kick-boxer. The bookies have Nunes as the favourite.
Current Odds: Amanda Nunes (-265) Germaine De Randamie (+225)
Some of the other interesting fights on this card include Mike Perry vs. Geoff Neal, Marlon Moraes vs. Jose Aldo and Petr Yan vs. Urijah Faber.
