Summary:
- UFC Fight Night card will take place at O2 Arena on July 22
- Main Event will feature UK’s Tom Aspinall vs. Poland’s Marcin Tybura
- UK fan favorite Paddy Pimblett is not part of this fight card!
The UFC is making it a habit to go back to the UK on a more frequent basis given the tremendous response it has received to its Fight Night cards in the UK.
The UFC will return to the O2 Arena In London on July 22 for another exciting Fight Night card that is packed with UK fighters.
Top heavyweight prospect Tom Aspinall will once again headline the show as he takes on Poland’s Marcin Tybura. British fans will be aware of that fact that the last time Aspinall headlined the card, it turned out to be a disappointing affair for him and them!
Aspinall was part of the Main Event against Curtis Blaydes on July 23, 2022. It was a highly anticipated match-up because it was the biggest test of Aspinall’s career and the winner would be closer to getting a title shot at the heavyweight champ!
Sadly the fight lasted for just 15 seconds as Aspinall suffered an injury and could not continue! Aspinall will look to make up for that when he steps into the Octagon against Tybura who is coming off a decision win against Blagoy Ivanov in Feb 2023.
Aspinall called for this fight against Tybura and will want to announce his return with another quick KO or submission but it will not be easy as Tybura is great on the ground and has a good chin!
The O2 arena will see another packed out arena as fans turn out to watch all of the best UK MMA fighters in action. Molly McCann will take on Julija Stoliarenko in the co-main event while Nathaniel Wood, Jai Herbert and Paul Craig will all fight on the Main Card.
Davey Grant, Marc Diakiese and Danny Roberts will also fight but on the prelims.
UK fan favorite Paddy Pimblett will be missing in action as Paddy the Baddy is still recovering from an injury. He should be in attendance as we expect him to come out and support his close friend Molly McCann.
